Job Description:

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop computing environment. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as troubleshooting hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

You will also be responsible for installing, updating, and patching software applications and security tools, providing day-to-day support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

In addition, you will manage user accounts, groups, and permissions using Active Directory, assist with system upgrades, data migrations, and routine backups, troubleshoot basic network issues, and perform basic configuration and support of network devices.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining network performance at the location, responding to IT support tickets, and documenting technical issues, solutions, and IT processes accurately.

Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices, and manage IT assets and maintain inventory for your designated location.
