Job Opportunity for General Manager

A well-established automobile company based in Chennai is seeking an ambitious and results-driven General Manager to lead their organization's business activities and develop effective business strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and managing the organization's operations, allocating resources, formulating policies, coordinating business functions, monitoring staff performance, managing operational costs, ensuring customer satisfaction, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and analyzing financial data.

The successful General Manager will possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities. They should be able to account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales and revenue growth, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization's image, and meet overall growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily business operations.
2. Develop and implement growth strategies.
3. Train low-level managers and staff.
4. Create and manage budgets.
5. Improve revenue generation.
6. Hire employees based on skill requirements.
7. Evaluate performance and productivity metrics.
8. Analyze accounting and financial data to inform business decisions.
9. Research and identify new business opportunities.
10. Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:
1. MBA in Operations Management from a reputable institution.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in the automobile industry.
3. Strong understanding of various business functions and processes.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
7. Strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
8. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and vendors.
9. Proficient in using computer software applications.
10. Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
