About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Elasticsearch Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters.

  • Maintain Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters to guarantee high availability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement scripts using Puppet, Ansible, and other tools to automate tasks and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical issues as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Elasticsearch cluster administration and management.
  • Splunk cluster administration and management.
  • Provisioning and configuration management using tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Automations and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer, or CloudFormation templates.
  • Monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience.
