Job Description

This role involves leading technical efforts in the back office, driving innovation and excellence through Murex Mxml development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the system as a whole, with experience in workflow development involving trade life cycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing transformation logic for source data format to Murex understandable format (MxML), creating MxML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange, and documenting functional, technical specifications and test cases for integration.

Key responsibilities include building custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task library, working on CRs for BO Workflows including Contract, Event, Deliverable & other Business object workflows, and preparing and sending effective periodic and timely status reports.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with UNIX and SQL, ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently, and good understanding of capital market products.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience in Murex Mxml Development Back office
  • Understanding of the Murex system as a whole
  • Experience with Mxml exchange interface/mxml integration
  • Good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML, familiar with Event workflow, contract workflow, exchange workflow, deliverable workflow
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues

The role requires a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to work independently with minimum supervision and escalates identified issues/risks in a timely fashion to the PM.
