Murex Consultant

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Murex consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support and implementation services for Murex 3.1.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The consultant will be responsible for providing first- and second-level production system support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  2. They will work on various Murex system implementation projects, configuration, and developments in data mart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  3. The consultant will analyze and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  4. They will follow the client's SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  5. The consultant will support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  6. They will develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
  7. The consultant will perform technical reviews of production changes.
  8. They will write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
  9. The consultant will maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  10. They will deal directly with business users across the bank, including front, middle, and back office, finance, product control, and risk.
  11. The consultant will analyze and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.
  12. They will provide detailed information about issues to the vendor and coordinate with them in testing fixes/solutions.
  13. The consultant will act as an intermediary between business and vendor.
  14. They will debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of Data Mart.
