As a Hedge Fund Portfolio Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our hedge fund portfolios. This involves preparing and reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations to ensure that our clients receive precise and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Analysis: Prepare and review NAV calculations for hedge fund portfolios, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Profit and Loss Reconciliation: Perform P&L reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Carry out cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.
  • Support Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes: Assist in journal entries, accruals, and other tasks related to month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Performance Reporting and Investor Statements: Collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to validate portfolio data and performance metrics, and assist in creating investor statements.
  • Trade Settlement and Reporting: Coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred, with a Master's or professional certification like CFA/CPA being an advantage.
  • 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, preferably with exposure to NAV calculation and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, including equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with knowledge of fund accounting software (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, or similar) being an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
