Automotive Interiors Engineer

As an Automotive Interiors Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for ongoing and new projects in the field of interior design. This includes designing CAD geometry, 3D annotations, and 2D drawings to support various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of plastic & sheet metal components using parametric modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with CATIA V5/V6 software.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information at all times.
  • Providing CAD support and leading the design process in line with project timelines.
  • Checking and managing clearance for interface parts.
  • Ensuring manufacturing feasibility of parts.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Meeting project deliverables.
  • Identifying and resolving program risks.
  • Knowledge of design and development for test rigs, fixtures, physical parts testing.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in using CATIA V5 & V6.
  • Good knowledge of domain expertise, parametric modeling, BOM creation, and update.
  • Strong GD&T skills.
  • Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
  • Good knowledge of Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), part release process, and system.
  • Engineering knowledge of defined component(s)/system(s) design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualification:

Diploma BE/B.Tech , Diploma, ME in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
