Lead Subtitling Team for a Multidisciplinary Service Provider

As a highly skilled professional, you will oversee the team responsible for subtitling coordination. Your role involves people management, growth and development, scheduling, utilization, performance monitoring, and project tracking.

  • Supervise Localization Coordinators, set clear objectives, communicate expectations, goals, and feedback to ensure alignment with the team's vision.
  • Liaise with Translator Support teams to report linguist pool health and plan capacity for rare languages.
  • Identify conflicts early, facilitate discussions, and find satisfactory solutions for all parties involved.

You will be responsible for team morale, attrition, development, coaching, performance communication, and feedback. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan future activities.

  • Conduct timely 1:1s with coordinators, drive HR processes and policies, and support managers as needed.
  • Manage productivity, volume, leave planning, business continuity, and succession planning.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding project status and resource capacity.

This role requires strong time management, problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in the media industry. A graduate degree and excellent English command are essential. You will have opportunities to grow your skills, expand your network, and make a meaningful impact.
