Category Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to drive growth by leveraging data insights and strategic planning.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing subcategories, synthesizing data, developing strategies, and executing recommendations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Category Analysis: Delve into subcategories to understand consumer behavior, sales performance, and competitive landscape.
- Data Synthesis: Leverage multiple data sources to generate actionable insights.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies on product positioning, pricing, discounting, and marketing interventions.
- New Launch Planning: Analyze whitespace opportunities, consumer needs, and competitor offerings to recommend new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Execution & Monitoring: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure recommendations are implemented and track performance.
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business analytics, category management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work with data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills necessary.
- Able to think big picture while staying detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills – able to structure and present insights clearly.
