Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Operational Support Specialist to oversee the management of production services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a leading global financial institution.

About the Role:Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage end-user support, system performance, and incident response to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • BUILD comprehensive business and application knowledge required for supporting critical client-facing applications.
  • Analyze and resolve application issues to guarantee high-performance and usability.
  • Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort, enhance efficiency, and minimize customer impact.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
  • Foster collaboration with Development teams to drive application enhancements with sound business justification.
  • Configure monitoring tools using industry-standard technologies and develop customized monitoring solutions.
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in an Operational Support / Stability role.
  • Coding/scripting skills: Python/Perl/Shell (Any Two).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of Distributed Systems.
  • Knowledge of Database Concepts, SQL Queries, and Database Performance.
  • Experience working with Application Monitoring/Alerting Tools (Splunk, Elastic Search etc.).
  • Understanding of schedulers (Autosys, Control M, Comet etc.)
