As a key member of our research and development team, the Senior Food Scientist will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our beverage products.

This highly sought-after position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record of developing and launching innovative beverages that capture consumer preferences and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of food chemistry, sensory science, nutrition, and functional ingredients, as well as expertise in regulatory compliance and international standards.

To excel in this role, one must be able to balance scientific rigor with commercial viability, leveraging creativity and strategic thinking to drive product innovation and ensure scalability.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation roadmap that aligns with our brand vision and drives revenue growth.
  • Product Development & Formulation: Design and optimize beverages for optimal taste, texture, and nutritional content, leveraging functional ingredients to create unique and engaging products.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure seamless navigation of complex regulatory landscapes, guaranteeing compliance with FSSAI standards and other international regulations.
  • Scale-up & Manufacturing: Collaborate with external partners to scale up formulations, addressing stability, packaging, and supply chain compatibility challenges.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's or PhD in Food Technology, Food Science, or Nutrition.
  • Experience: Proven track record of developing and launching successful beverage products, preferably with experience in setting up or leading an R&D lab/team.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food chemistry, sensory science, nutrition, and functional ingredients, combined with expertise in regulatory compliance and international standards.
