Job Title: Hospitality Operations Manager

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring they meet or exceed brand standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve food and beverage goals
  • Lead and participate in food and beverage projects as requested by management
  • Audit and maintain food safety, including ensuring employees have necessary certifications
  • Respond to food safety inspections and reports
  • Participate in periodic inventory of food and beverage inventories
  • Track use of hotel foodstuff and request changes in order amounts to maximize efficiency
  • Suggest, review, and approve menu changes, set pricing
  • Ensure outlets meet or exceed brand standards
  • Review guest complaints and respond accordingly
  • Track the completion of training new outlet management
  • Work with vendors and purchasing to maintain high food quality
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors where possible
  • Attend vendor fairs and participate in food tastings
  • Assist accounting with vendor disputes regarding invoices and payment
  • Communicate effectively with guests, management, employees, and regional office
  • Promote food and beverage outlets through advertising and public relations campaigns
  • Work closely with restaurant and kitchen managers to maximize revenue while meeting or exceeding guest expectations
  • Communicate successful on-site programs to corporate internal communications
  • Report food and beverage revenue, costs, Medallia scores, and prepare other reports regularly for management
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with guests, management, employees, and regional office
  • Food Safety Certification: Knowledge of food safety regulations and certification
  • Menu Development: Ability to suggest, review, and approve menu changes, set pricing
  • F&B Industry Knowledge: Understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control
  • Vendor Management: Ability to work with vendors and negotiate pricing
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
