System Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to join our team in the Retail Technology department.

The ideal candidate will have a focus on analyzing technology systems and processes for new feature implementation and design improvements, as well as experience coordinating with engineering teams to analyze business requirements and ensure seamless integration of applications.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for applications.
    • Build business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and projects.
    • Ensure production data accuracy and cleanliness for transactions and guest profiles.
    • Optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations.
    • Automate report generation to obtain meaningful KPIs.
    • Understand application architecture and technology stack to recommend strategies to meet SLAs.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze real/actual data for business reporting and project decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. A master's degree is beneficial.
  • 7+ years of experience in system analysis, design, and development, with a focus on retail technology.
  • Proficiency in database management, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and modern development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with point of sale hardware and software integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
