Job Overview: Tax Consultant – Taxation, Audit & Compliance

We are hiring an experienced Tax Consultant (CA) with 0–3 years of experience to lead our team in Navi Mumbai. This leadership role involves managing the Taxation, Audit, and Compliance team, advising clients, and ensuring regulatory adherence across various engagements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Tax Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of CA Articles and junior staff, provide technical guidance on taxation, audit, and statutory compliance, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support team development.
  • Tax Services & Reporting: Supervise preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and Statutory Audit Reports, manage GST audits, tax computations, and annual filings, review and finalize financial statements and audit documentation.
  • Compliance Representation: Draft replies and represent clients in hearings under the Income Tax Act and GST Act, coordinate with tax authorities for assessments, inquiries, and departmental proceedings, ensure full compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other relevant regulations.
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
    • 0–3 years of post-qualification experience
    • In-depth knowledge of Indian Tax Laws, GST, Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and Companies Act
    • Experience with financial statement preparation, audits, and regulatory filings
    • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
    • Must be based in or willing to commute to Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
