Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to oversee our organization's tax strategy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing direct and indirect tax, as well as litigation and audit issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete tax compliance, particularly for direct and indirect tax with a focus on goods and services tax (GST). This includes performing GST input tax credit reconciliation and reversing non-eligible credits.

This is a senior-level position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The candidate must also have the ability to maintain and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Tax Compliance: Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation.
  • Audit Issues: Appear before tax authorities and manage various audit issues.
  • Tax Payments and Returns: Handle advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork.
  • Tax Knowledge: Ensure complete tax compliance, particularly for DT and IDT with a focus on GST.
  • GST ITC Reconciliation: Perform GST ITC reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC.
  • Professional Advice: Coordinate with tax counsel for advisory and opinion.
  • Case Preparation: Prepare facts and cases for professional opinions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide assistance to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Experience: 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Tax Expertise: Experience in managing tax compliance, assessments, and litigation.
