We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, developing, integrating, and implementing Oracle database services in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain backups and recovery procedures to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Develop and implement plans to oversee the database administration function and ensure smooth transition to new technology.
  • Provide 24/7 support of production database services to ensure highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security, and performance.
  • Monitor database performance, propose and implement agreed performance-enhancing changes to optimize system efficiency.
  • Participate in execution and implementation of systems according to strategic objectives.
Broad Knowledge and Skills
  • Broad knowledge of all areas within particular IT sub-functions is essential for this role.
  • Applies depth of knowledge in function derived from experience in technical and demonstrates strong communication skills.
  • Continuous learning and development of skill set and knowledge transfer to team members is crucial.
