To excel in this challenging role, you will be undertaking a series of audits as per the audit calendar and ensuring timely completion within the target time frame.

  • Documentation of high-quality audit reports is essential to accurately record exceptions observed during the course of audit
  • Achieving qualitative and effective performance in all areas of audits undertaken is crucial for success
  • Critical review of existing processes and procedures during the audit will enable identification of areas for improvement to enhance controls and simplify process flow
  • Diligent identification of operational risk areas with prompt escalation to the team leader is vital
  • Regular review and follow-up of rectification responses from the auditee are necessary for early rectification of audit comments and timely closure of audit files
  • Compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements (FEMA, UCP 600, ISBP, RBI Guidelines) and adherence to internal processes through scrutinizing transactions is key
  • Effective tracking and identification of revenue leakage with suggested measures to plug the same is a critical aspect
  • This role involves conducting various Audit reviews and providing guidance to Junior Auditors

An ideal candidate should hold a Commerce Graduate/MBA (Finance)/CA degree

  • Prior experience in Trade Finance Operations would be beneficial

Strong communication and drafting skills are required

  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel is mandatory
  • Ability to plan and execute Audit plans effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • This role requires extensive travel across the region
