Trade Finance Solutions Job Description:

The role involves providing efficient finance operations and risk management for international trading requirements. This position demands a deep understanding of trade finance instruments and their complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), Bank Guarantees, and Bills of Exchange.
  • Coordinate with counterparties across time zones for contracts, LC documentation, and settlements.
  • Monitor daily IRS settlement positions and ensure profit and loss is accurately reflected.
  • Collaborate with banks for foreign currency settlements and allocate transactions in the system.
  • Work closely with the Reconciliation/Operational Treasury department to ensure deal-related cash flows are recorded correctly and timely.
  • Ensure agreements are in place for monthly offset procedures and reconcile current positions with Accounting.
  • Collaborate with Deals Desk and Accounting personnel to allocate costs correctly to deal Profit and Loss accounts.
  • Record, attribute, track, and maintain loans and deposits with financial institutions.
  • Provide support in generating business reports and activity analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience within a commodity trading company or financial institution.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of trade finance instruments.
  • Excellent communication and coordinating skills.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
