Job Title: Information Security Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves assisting in the coordination and management of information security frameworks, policies, and programs. You will work with various teams to develop, execute, and enforce standards that support a robust security program.

The ideal candidate will have experience in information security governance, compliance, and risk management, as well as knowledge of industry security concepts and regulatory standards such as ISO-27001, NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and CIS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and ensure compliance with corporate security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Manage the annual review cycle and sign off of policies, proposing changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate the implementation of managerial and technical controls to support defined security standards.
  • Oversee the annual Information Security Management Program, including Risk Assessments, Penetration Tests, Disaster Recovery Plans, and Employee Communication Tests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Two years' professional experience in an Information Security role.
  • Experience in Information Security Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of industry security concepts/frameworks and regulatory standards such as ISO-27001, NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and CIS frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Information Security Certifications (Comptia, ISC(2), ISACA).
  • AWS Security certification is a plus but not required.
