Job Title: Unix/Linux Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled system administrator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting Linux systems in a production environment.

This includes:

  • Maintaining and upgrading system software and firmware;
  • Monitoring system performance and implementing optimization strategies;
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-related issues;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems;
  • Developing and implementing automated solutions using scripting languages like Python or Bash.

A successful system administrator will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Linux systems, resolving technical issues promptly, and contributing to the development of efficient and effective solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Linux System Administration

Must have a strong foundation in Linux/Unix fundamentals, command-line operations, and experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Technical Skills

Proven experience with Linux system administration tools and technologies, including system monitoring and automation.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Educational Background

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
