We are seeking an experienced leader to drive the strategic direction of our technology function, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects, mobile apps, and web platforms.

• Digital Transformation:

  • Oversight of AI integration, process automation, and digital innovation to expand ministry reach.
  • Management of API integrations, cloud-based platforms, websites, and mobile apps for seamless user experience.
  • Evaluation of 'make vs. buy' decisions for technology adoption.
  • Stay ahead of latest tools & frameworks (Angular, React, Flutter, Node.js, Python, .NET Core, Firebase, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, AI-driven platforms).

• IT Infrastructure & Operations:
  • ">
  • Supervision of IT infrastructure teams for cloud and on-premise server management, networks, and telecom systems.
  • Overseeing Tele Prayer Tower systems ensuring high uptime, scalability, and minimal call drops.
  • Ensuring 24/7 connectivity across all Prayer Towers and remote teams.
  • Implementation of IT asset management and vendor negotiations for cost-effective solutions.

• Cybersecurity & Surveillance:
  • ">
  • Establishment of robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect prayer data, donor/partner information, and ministry systems.
  • Setup and management of cloud-based CCTV surveillance systems across 104 Prayer Towers, integrating live feeds into a central monitoring dashboard.
  • Implementation of real-time alerting, incident response, and forensic investigation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and IT security regulations.
  • Conduct periodic penetration testing, audits, and vulnerability assessments.

• Database & Analytics:

  • Leadership of database management teams for high-performance, secure, and scalable systems.
  • Design of data-driven dashboards for partner engagement, prayer requests, and outreach metrics.
  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with Indian and international regulations (e.g., GDPR equivalents).

• Leadership & Collaboration:
  • ">
  • Leadership and mentorship of a multi-disciplinary IT team across India.
  • Partnership with Prayer Tower leaders, Media, Finance, HR, and Ministry operations to enable technology-driven solutions.
  • Building a culture of integrity, compassion, ownership, and collaboration within the IT department.
  ">Required Skills & Competencies:
  • ">
  • Proven leadership in large-scale IT operations across multi-location organizations.
  • Expertise in software development, app ecosystems, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, cloud systems (AWS/Azure), and CCTV cloud monitoring.
  • Strong command over cybersecurity frameworks (SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, IAM, firewalls, endpoint security, encryption).
  • Vendor & contract management with focus on cost-efficiency and ROI.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to align IT with ministry growth & outreach goals.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  Qualifications:
  • ">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience (NGO/Non-Profit/Telecom/Enterprise IT background desirable).
  • Certifications: PMP/PRINCE2 (Project Management), AWS/Azure (Cloud), CISSP/CEH (Cybersecurity) preferred.
  • Experience in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes ecosystems.
