Job Overview

This role involves providing high-quality service to customers by effectively diagnosing and repairing engine-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer interaction abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete less complex repairs on engines, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance activities according to documented schedules and standards on engine and related components in the field.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisors for further assistance.
  • Service Documentation: Complete accurate documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, through handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Training and Development: Maintain and enhance technical skills through required training programs.
  • Vehicle and Tool Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicles and tools.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting incidents to site management and supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronic preferred with experience in Powergen segment.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
