We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to lead the effort in developing, assigning, and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technicians with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Instrumentation Maintenance: Experience in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and testing of field instrumentation equipment, including transmitters, flow meters, and analyzers.
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Techniques: Understanding of predictive maintenance methods and tools to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Asset Performance Management: Familiarity with asset performance management concepts and practices to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
