Senior Instrumentation Engineer

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex instrumentation systems.
  • You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed engineering specifications, including P&ID diagrams, control valve sizing, and flow element selection.
  • Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of instruments and equipment.
  • Evaluate and recommend technical solutions for instrument-related issues.
  • Prepare inspection and test plans for field instruments, and conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in basic and detailed engineering of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in using latest software tools for instrumentation engineering, such as SPI Intools.
  • Hands-on experience in sizing control valves and flow elements using Conval and Flowcal software.
  • Domain knowledge in Refinery, Petrochemicals, Pipeline, Oil & Gas industries.
  • Excellent teamwork and customer interaction skills.
