Senior Procurement Specialist

The Supply Chain Management team is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the procurement and inventory management for our propellant and explosive suppliers. This role plays a crucial part in achieving cost containment, supplier performance, and inventory goals.
This position involves creating orders, establishing and developing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to ensure a high service level is maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience managing inventory using latest costing concepts, transparent costing terms, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in defense/aerospace/aviation supply chain environment, preferably in Procurement/Supply Chain Management function with 5+ years in Propellant and explosive domain
- Demonstrated experience dealing with suppliers, especially defense commodities (propellent, explosives etc)
- Excellent English communications skills
- Work experience in a multicultural and changing environment
