About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading brand in the women's wellness industry.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing packaging materials and services that align with our company objectives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance of all procurement activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Negotiating prices and purchase order terms with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Issuing purchase orders and tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data.
  • Handling quality control reports, rejections, and replacements.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the warehouse and operations teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.

Requirements and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Operations, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office.
  3. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  4. Familiarity with contract law and sourcing strategies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
