Finance Specialist Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing statutory and tax compliances, audit coordination, and monthly financial closing.

This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can work closely with the Finance Controller and support in all areas of finance, accounting, compliances, and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all Indian statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, and ROC filings.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely execution of statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing audits.
  • End-to-end ownership of accounting and book closure activities, including preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports, assist in monthly/quarterly financial reviews and presentations, and provide accurate and timely financial data to the Finance Controller.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent; CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / M.Com preferred.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in Indian finance and accounts function.
  • In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, ROC filings, audits, and Indian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in finalization of accounts and monthly financial closure.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience in accounting systems like Tally, Oracle, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently.
