Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to serve as our key contact for statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation. This role will involve ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with relevant authorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation.
  2. Ensure the timely and accurate submission of statutory forms and returns with relevant government agencies.
  3. Monitor and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting our operations.
  4. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Assist in preparing and filing income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  6. Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any legal or compliance issues related to statutory filings and financial statements.
  8. Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation, and addressing any GST-related queries.
  9. Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients, addressing their queries or concerns.
  10. Maintain proper documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of finance operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations affecting our business, including the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to address complex financial and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
