As the Data Centre Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data centre operations. Our organisation is committed to delivering exceptional performance and economic benefits through cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure 100% uptime for critical systems including power, temperature, humidity, access, CCTV, and ELV/BMS.
  • Manage NOC & SOC operations, infrastructure uptime, safety, security, hygiene, audit compliance, vendor management, green initiatives, and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver planned/predictive maintenance effectively and efficiently by leveraging competent resources while adhering to AdaniConneX standards and procedures.
  • Address the learning and development needs of the team, conduct regular performance reviews, plan for succession, and build a strong operations management team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and ELV systems used in the data centre environment.
  • Participate in the design, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations of new equipment and capacities.
  • Actively participate in customer review meetings and management reporting.
  • Adhere to various audit standards, including ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, ISO50001, SOC1, and SOC2.
  • Prepare detailed methods of procedure for planned maintenance, changes, or troubleshooting, subject to approval by the Operations Head or Customer SPOC.
  • Log all work carried out by contractors/vendors in data centre systems.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with vendors/contractors, track KPIs, and ensure timely closure of action items.
  • Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies during normal working hours in a calm and clear manner, in accordance with the emergency response plan.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve quality and efficiency standards for all equipment in the data centre, including cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and manage Capex and Opex requirements, ensure compliance, and find ways to increase energy efficiency without sacrificing site continuity or uptime.
  • Collaborate effectively with others within the organisation and ensure timely response during emergencies to maintain safety and operational continuity.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to organisational excellence.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects and responsibilities effectively, meeting committed timelines with the assistance of peers.
  • Be a strong team player, capable of covering all tasks required to get the job done.
  • Conduct data centre tours and participate in events organised by our company.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and maturity in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Play a vital role in data centre capacity augmentation and ensure smooth handover and onboarding of customers.Qualifications and Experience
    • 10-15 years of experience in data centre operations.
    • CDCP certification is a plus.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data centre operations.
