About the Role
  • This is a key leadership position within our organisation, requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the shift, including responding to alarms, resolving issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will also be expected to collaborate with other departments, such as IT and facilities, to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure 100% uptime for power, temperature, humidity, access, CCTV, and ELV/BMS systems by identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures.
  2. Lead a high-performing team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction, working closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience of managing teams and driving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
