Job Overview

Ensure the operational excellence of data centre facilities and teams. This role requires a strong focus on power, temperature, humidity, access, CCTV, and ELV/BMS system uptime, as well as infrastructure management, safety, security, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Deliver planned/predictive maintenance effectively and efficiently by leveraging competent resources while adhering to established standards and procedures.
  2. Address the learning and development needs of the team, conduct regular performance reviews, plan for succession, and build a strong operations management team.
  3. Participate in the design, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations of new equipment and capacities.
  4. Actively participate in customer review meetings and management reporting.
  5. Adhere to various audit standards, including ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, ISO50001, SOC1, and SOC2.
  6. Prepare detailed methods of procedure for planned maintenance, changes, or troubleshooting, subject to approval by the Operations Head or Customer SPOC.
  7. Log all work carried out by contractors/vendors in systems.
  8. Conduct periodic reviews with vendors/contractors, track KPIs, and ensure timely closure of action items.
  9. Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies during normal working hours in a calm and clear manner, in accordance with the emergency response plan.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Years of experience - At least 5 years of relevant experience in data centre operations is required.
  • CDCP certification is highly valued.
  • Some travel may be required.
