Job Title: Public Relations Director (Consumer)

About the Role:

We seek a skilled and experienced Consumer Public Relations professional to lead our team in developing strategic communication plans and building relationships with senior-level clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the consumer sector, excellent leadership skills, and experience working within an agency setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated communication strategies tailored for the consumer sector, incorporating media relations, corporate image management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders, and provide strategic PR counsel to key clients.
  • Strengthen brand awareness by showcasing company capabilities, talent, and results through proactive media relations and press coverage.
  • Lead new business proposals, presentations, and pitch meetings, identifying and leveraging global, digital, and social media trends to enhance PR strategies.
  • Manage budgets, team resources, and performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, applying data-driven insights to optimize communication plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting, with expertise in media relations and corporate image management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
