The company aims to cater to the growing demand for wagons in domestic and export markets, driven by initiatives from Indian Railways to modernize the rail system and infrastructure.

Job Description:

As the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for creating a sales strategy to increase market penetration and customer volumes, driving revenue goals. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to diversify product ranges based on customer requirements. Additionally, you will develop strategies to manage competition, build enduring relationships with customers, and create a pricing policy. You will also represent the company in various trade associations, exhibitions, and ensure the successful implementation of sales and marketing functions.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university
Full-time MBA in Marketing from Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges in India
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Minimum 20 years of experience in Heavy Engineering, Equipment Manufacturing in Capital Goods Industry
Preference given to candidates from the Railway sector with experience in freight cars, locomotives, metro, coaches
Exposure to international markets is preferable
