Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to join our team in coordinating concept design teams for high complexity projects, as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will refine selected designs into schematic and draft final designs, including drawings and reports.
  • Collaboration with other design specializations (Structural, Mechanical, Water & Environment) is essential for coordinating design requirements across disciplines for complex projects.
  • Working closely with stakeholders is crucial for design value engineering on high complexity projects.
  • The successful candidate will review and validate design deliverables for medium to high complexity projects with clients and authorities.
  • Tender documents, including specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Conditions of Contract, require careful preparation.
  • Project teams rely on the Lead Architect to support reviewing design deliverables and conducting detailed checks.
  • Effective management of project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules is vital.
  • Identifying and mitigating project contractual risks is also a key responsibility.
  • Supervising external suppliers and subcontracts requires strong leadership skills.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is mandatory.
  • A Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience in architectural design function is required.
  • A strong track record in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven track record in architectural design field are necessary.
  • Familiarity with international engineering standards and codes is beneficial.
  • Exposure to global best practices and trends in architectural design is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and attention to details are essential qualities.
