Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee banking device procurement, import and warehousing & inventory control management. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Evaluate multiple available products/services in the market based on user requirements.
  • Compare available goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendors and costs through RFP processes.
  • Support users and legal functions for contract execution from a supply chain management perspective.
  • Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing and inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions to understand requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories accordingly.
  • Review existing contracts and maintain trackers/repository.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives through contract negotiations.
  • Raise needs of agreements well in time and ensure renewals before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with partners, freight forwarders, customs, and other relevant parties.
  • Engage with users to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, inventory, and imports.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure timely vendor PO issuance and payment.
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products daily.
  • Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to provide competitive pricing and timely services.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import, and warehousing/inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize workloads.
