Job Title: Procurement Specialist
About the Role:As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality ingredients and packaging materials. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities:- Sourcing vendors and procuring vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical ingredients, and packing materials
- Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to optimize cost savings
- Managing inventory levels and coordinating logistics to meet business needs
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of purchasing regulations, including compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics and FSSAI guidelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmacy, Food Technology, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related fields
