Senior leadership role leading application development projects and software engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of application development teams.
  • Directly supervise software engineers and project managers.
  • Deliver results to stakeholders and collaborate with architects on strategic initiatives.

This individual will have 10+ years of experience in application development leadership, including 7+ years of technical experience in architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development. They should possess in-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures, as well as a deep understanding of cloud-native solutions, microservices-architecture, and API orchestration architecture.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with technologies such as Java, NoSQL, Spring boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Cloud, and DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, SEO, etc.

Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of API platforms, back-end services, database, and networking components of full-stack infrastructure. Direct management of cross-functional, sourced, or matrixed teams is essential.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of application development leadership experience
  • 7+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development
  • In-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native solutions, microservices-architecture, and API orchestration architecture

The successful candidate will be able to manage application development standards, processes, and tools. They will work with direct reports to facilitate consistency of service delivery across client groups. Facilitating compliance with standard set of application development tools and processes is also required.
