Placement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our campus recruitment efforts. As a placement manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, securing live projects, and establishing robust mentorship programs.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Translate business targets into quantifiable outcomes and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans to build and maintain strong relationships with leading organizations and industry leaders
  • Proactively create and manage corporate engagement opportunities, including securing distinguished guest speakers and sourcing live projects
  • Lead all aspects of the career services function, guiding students through their career development journey and managing the end-to-end placement process
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring seamless and valuable relationships
  • Cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of corporate partners that aligns with our mission and provides a competitive advantage for our students and programs
Candidate Profile:
  • A visionary professional with significant experience in corporate relations, business development, talent acquisition, or career services, preferably within the higher education sector or a related field
  • Possesses a strong, existing network of senior-level contacts across various industries
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate industry trends into actionable initiatives
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A deep understanding of the business landscape and the talent needs of modern corporations
  • Travel within the region to meet clients and engage them for campus placement
Education and Experience:
  • Any Postgraduate/MBA or related degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in business development, sales, or a relevant role
  • Experience in customer acquiring and relationship management will also be considered
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and competence
