**Job Opportunity:**

We're seeking a skilled Manual QA Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The successful candidate will focus on functional and regression testing across multiple platforms, working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in bug tracking systems, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support UAT with clients and stakeholders.

Performance Metrics:

  • Defect Detection Rate: 95% or higher of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: 5% or lower of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: 90% or higher of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: 90% or higher of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (basic validation).
  • Exposure to WordPress-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
