Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our QA department, you will be responsible for designing and executing manual test plans to ensure the highest quality web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review software requirements to design detailed test plans and cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities.
  • Conduct functional, regression, UI, integration, and UAT testing across multiple platforms, identifying and documenting defects in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update test artifacts for traceability and transparency, utilizing tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla to track and prioritize defects.
  • Closely collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure seamless integration with development cycles and high-quality deliverables.
  • Evaluate the implications of new features on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively, aligning with Agile/scrum workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of focused manual testing experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in formalizing test documentation and utilizing defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, as well as familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Exposure to SQL or database validation techniques.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and device debugging tools.
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
