About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technology Product Owner to drive our underwriting platforms and frameworks. As the driving force behind our technology solutions, you will translate business needs into actionable tasks for development teams.

Your expertise in the insurance sector, combined with your product management skills, will be key in ensuring that we deliver solutions that meet business demands across lines of business and regions.

This role is critical in developing and articulating a clear product vision for our underwriting platforms, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and responding to market trends and regional needs.

You will own and prioritize the product backlog, defining user stories that clearly articulate requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure that the backlog is well-groomed and aligned with strategic goals.

As a member of a cross-functional Agile team, you will collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years experience in IT field, with at least 3+ years as Technology Product Owner.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Technology Product Owner in developing tech platforms for underwriting, and policy lifecycle processes or Insurtech.
  • Demonstrate ability to combine deep business and product knowledge with technical know-how.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering user-centered products.
