Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Technology Product Owner, where you will be responsible for driving product strategies and delivering value to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building technology platforms/products for insurance products and processes, with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the product meets the needs of the business and customers. You will also collaborate with UX/UI designers to incorporate user feedback into product iterations and maintain thorough documentation of product requirements and decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision that ensures alignment with overall business objectives and responds to market trends and customer needs.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, defining user stories that clearly articulate requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the product meets the needs of the business and customers.
  • Agile Delivery: Collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
  • Domain Expertise: Leverage your insurance domain knowledge to make informed product decisions, ensuring compliance and improved insurance processes.
  • User-Centered Design: Advocate for the end-user by validating solutions against customer needs and ensuring a user-friendly experience.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and its features.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least 3+ years as a Technology Product Owner.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Technology Product Owner in developing tech platforms for underwriting and policy lifecycle processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.
