Purpose of Position: The Product Owner is responsible for leading the Hexagon Mining teams in executing and delivering product and service releases within the software development life cycle process. This role involves coordinating backlogs for all product releases, assisting Product Managers in defining release plans and scope, and translating customer expectations into technical requirements using Agile scrum-based software development practices. The Product Owner also plays a key role in developing and maintaining the product vision, working with cross-functional teams (architects, product management and R&D teams) to ensure business, quality, and functional goals are met with each release.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

- Maintain an effective backlog.
- Define clear and concise acceptance criteria for each feature.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product release and support.
- Work with multiple international teams.
- Assess and mitigate risks.
- Make efficient and effective decisions.
- Foster effective Agile processes and cross-functional communication.
- Promote continuous improvement.
- Inspire and motivate development teams to deliver innovative solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Ensure efficient and on-time delivery of requirements with high quality and low cost.
- Facilitate efficient and effective solution delivery processes.
- Drive effective organizational and talent development.

**Education / Qualifications**
Knowledge and Experience - Required:

- Experience as a Product Owner.
- Working experience in the Mining industry especially with mine planning
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple requirements.
- Experience with Agile-Scrum, Waterfall, or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Solid project management skills, including planning, organizing, monitoring progress, and tracking results.

Knowledge and Experience - Desired:

- Experienced in SAFE Framework development environment.
