We are looking for a driven individual to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for product management of API integration strategy, API Gateway and Cloud based API building platform called Backend as a Service.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements across various internal and external stakeholders, by establishing relationships with them and drive adoption. They will work with industry analysts and customers to understand latest API technology trends and work with the seniors in forging product vision and direction for the future. They will ensure that the vision is well defined to the detailed level and pair up with engineering in realizing the same. They will also be responsible for releasing the product in periodic intervals and ensuring that the product passes the stringent release control process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entrepreneurial drive to self-start initiative and work with internal and external customers. A real spider in the web with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are needed to articulate complex topics to a large audience.
  • Works independently on large and/or complex technical projects
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Exercises sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Provide input to business cases to realise the requirements.
  • Comfortable with hands-on working and giving demos on the product.
  • Own the product enablement/trainings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science or other relevant Engineering education.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Product Management or functional/Operational business analysis for software product development or hands on implementation.
  • Technical aptitude to work with API related technologies such as REST, Graph QL, JSON, node js, API Security protocols etc
  • Knowledge of API management and iPaaS platforms like AWS Gateway, Kong, Mulesoft or Dell Bhoomi is a plus.
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation skills, written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Involves occasional/compulsory travel to visit dev teams/present the product in conferences etc
