Job Title: Bid Proposal Specialist

This position involves writing compelling proposals for government contracts, working closely with sales teams to develop account penetration strategies and implement account-specific sales plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management, and dealing with US Federal government contracting. Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management, and dealing with US Federal government contracting.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and other presales activities.
  • Anchoring responses to Proactive (proposals) as well as Reactive (RFP/RFI) bids.
  • Proactively identify and propose improvements or innovations to services, product functionality or processes.
  • Prepare customer/vertical-specific sales collaterals by working closely with the respective practice teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT services / staffing company.
  • Understanding of US Federal government, SLED contracting.
  • Good presentation skills, well versed with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to navigate and get the required information from various stakeholders to design a compelling solution/proposal.
  • Strong understanding of Contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA Platform & IDIQs.
  • Hands-on experience in Proposal writing is mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
