Strategic Wealth Manager Position

This is a senior leadership role that requires expertise in guiding, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams to drive significant growth in assets under management (AUM) and assets under advice (AUA). The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and managing high net worth individual (HNI)/ultra HNI (UHNI) relationships and delivering strategic investment solutions.

Candidates must have a minimum existing AUM book of ₹75–100 Cr across mutual funds, portfolio management services (PMS), and alternative investment funds (AIF). Preference will be given to candidates who can onboard an existing performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of wealth managers to achieve and exceed business targets.
  • Align team objectives with organizational goals, ensuring effective communication with senior leadership.
  • Drive targeted acquisition strategies for HNI/UHNI clients.
  • Support team members in closing high-value deals and onboarding marquee clients.
  • Achieve profit/loss (P/L) targets.
  • Deliver tailor-made wealth management solutions across asset classes, including mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, insurance, and alternate investments.
  • Maintain high client engagement through market insights and proactive recommendations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory norms, as well as internal processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Leadership excellence: ability to inspire, manage, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Investment expertise: strong knowledge of MF, PMS, AIF, bonds, and insurance products.
  • Business acumen: proven track record of growing AUM and client portfolios.
  • Client network: strong HNI/UHNI market presence and ability to bring new relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/postgraduate in finance, business administration, or related field (MBA/CFP/CFA preferred).
  • 10-12 years of experience in wealth management/private banking, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum AUM book of ₹75–100 Cr mandatory.
  • Preference for candidates capable of bringing along a performing team.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large HNI/UHNI portfolios and delivering consistent business growth.
