Energy Storage System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Energy Storage System Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience with battery-based energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the electrical design of battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the region.
  • Perform technical reviews of documents provided by vendors.
  • Develop FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems.
  • Manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
  • Conduct electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions on equipment as provided by the manufacturer and approved by manager.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in BESS.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field.
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and training experience in BESS.
  • Excellent organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Client management, team management, and process management skills.
  • Familiarity with other electrical and PV software is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in similar lines.
  • Knowledge of fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies.
