Storage Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled storage infrastructure specialist to fill this key role. As a critical member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the daily administration and management of SAN and storage environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve issues and provide technical expertise.
  • Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting for assigned tasks, functional areas, or projects.
  • Support the design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain system-level maintenance for storage infrastructure systems.
  • Track existing storage usage trends and capacity planning for future growth.
  • Provide storage area network configuration and administration services.
  • Manage infrastructure events, including capacity management, monitoring, and performance analysis.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
  • Experience handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
  • Exposure to operations and management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), unified compute platforms, various host operating systems, and basic cluster management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable.
