Chief Government Marketplace Officer

The role of a GeM / Tender Manager is pivotal in our IT solutions team. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our GeM (Government e-Marketplace) operations and tender processes across government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- GeM portal operations management, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing
- End-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up
- Ensuring compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications
- Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers
- Analyzing market opportunities in government IT sector and preparing strategic proposals
- Monitoring competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders
- Managing documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects
- Collaborating with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies
- Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts
- Strong analytical and project management skills
