Job Description:

The Automation Strategist is responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies that enable the efficient and scalable execution of test cases across functional and non-functional testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Framework:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for telecommunications systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
  • Define Automation Strategies:
  • Evaluate and select tools and technologies that align with the telecom SDLC to define effective automation strategies.
  • Collaboration and Opportunity Identification:
  • Work collaboratively with test leads and domain SMEs to identify automation opportunities and prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Test Script Development:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts following best practices and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery:
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing and optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Expertise:

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
